![]() Turkey Day Fireworks ![]() Using my mom's dog as a test subject for CLS/AWL set-up with my SB-800 off camera to the left and on camera flash, both diffused.

A couple of my favorite automotive shots:
![]() Catching reflections in cars is a favorite thing for me to look for, this fender was just reflective enough and had a great curve that this looked like it went deep. ![]() This was from the Greaserama car show. The car had an air suspension that raised it off the ground just a couple of inches. It scraped when it entered and left the lot. I don't know if I could even get a sheet of paper under there when it was parked. It was definitely nice to shoot.

Thanks guys, I'm trying to balance the size with enough detail, but not overwhelming anyone's internet speed. The size I'm using is the typical size used in flickr for posting in their forums, I figure it was a good size to stick with.
Speaking of flickr, this was shot for the weather group's posting of pictures of weather on this past Halloween. ![]() And the source picture for my Avatar on flickr, shot appropriately with my SE w810i using the "negative" shooting mode. ![]() ![]()

The white on those wheels is intense! Very clean.

Thanks guys! There seems to be following of the Greaser cars here in KC. Well, I also see a lot of the newer "muscle" but it just doesn't shoot as well.
I was out this past week shooting some local detail: ![]() Then I turned to shoot the pretty iron and gold leaf numbers: ![]() It wasn't until I had it uploaded on flickr that I realized what I had shot. Can't wait to see if anyone else over there picks up on it. ![]()

Thank you. I was a bit worried that I wouldn't have any weather to shoot for Halloween weather shoot on the weather flickr group. (I had made that suggestion as something to do for that new forum, so I felt a little pressure.) The first rays of light that morning yielded that photo. Phew! That give me an idea.......
